A Baton Rouge man was arrested when police foiled his attempt to break into a pharmacy in Scott.
The Scott Police Department press release stated that investigators received information that Aaron Beyl, 37, was plotting to rob the Cashway Pharmacy. They learned that he had formulated a plan to do just that.
Officers took strategic positions around the pharmacy and observed Beyl blacking out a camera on the exterior of the business. When he returned later, Beyl was arrested just as he was preparing to break into the pharmacy.
Beyl was charged with attempted burglary of a business, tampering with a surveillance system, illegally carrying burglary tools, and illegal possession of stolen things.
