Louisiana State Flag: Union, Justice, and Confidence
Louisiana State Flag: Union, Justice, and Confidence
Have you stopped and taken the time to look closely at the Louisiana state flag?
The state flag displays a white pelican nurturing its young by tearing at its own breast. The pelican has been a symbol of Louisiana since colonial times. You can see the pelican on the flag tearing at it’s own breast, as signified by three drops of blood above the three young pelicans.
The whole scene is set on a field of blue, and underneath the pelican is a white banner that contains the state motto, “Union, Justice, and Confidence”.
While we hope that these three things, the union, justice, and confidence, are always upheld, we also understand that although the American legal system is the best in the world, it still has its flaws.
Sometimes you must find your own justice by taking the opportunities afforded to you to protect yourself in court.
One way to ensure that your rights are protected is to craft a solid defense against the charges you are facing. The best way to do that is to meet with a lawyer in the comfort of their office, not behind bars.
