Unlucky Criminals
Unlucky Criminals
Sometimes people end up in jail because of bad luck, and sometimes that bad luck happens while they’re committing a crime! Here are some stories about unlucky criminals.
– An attempted robbery at a Lowes Home Improvement store went awry and Milton J. Hodges fled across the street and jumped a fence. The problem was, he jumped right into a Nudist Resort & Spa. The Orlando Sentinel pointed out that as one of the only people wearing clothing he was easily spotted by the police.
– One bank robber fainted in the middle of robbing a bank. The teller called 911, and while the ambulance was en route, the suspect handed a note to the tell demanding her cash.
– Officers arrived to find that the victim’s jewelry was missing, the electronics were gone, and a window was smashed. Then the victim’s French-speaking father called and she explained to him that it was a scam in order to get the insurance money. What she didn’t realize was that that officer spoke six languages, including French.
No matter why you or your loved one has ended up in jail, it’s important that they get out and speak with a lawyer as soon as possible.
